Wish I played the piano.

Play the Uke and feel like a giant.... or pretend that your guitar and your bass just had a baby :)

i've recently just started learning to play the cello.

after playing guitar for 5 years, i've forgotten what it is like to be a beginner.

it is really hard at first, but i'd love to keep learning, and play it to a decent standard.

Yeah, if I could go back, I would take piano before guitar because I know people who have much easier time learning guitar because of piano.

Piano certainly helps when you learn other instruments, thats for sure. I maintain saying that all other instruments are based around Piano.

I've played the violin for years, started when I was 5 or 6, and I played the piano for a few years as well, but I gave up.

It's kind of true that all instruments are based around the piano, even though piano was the last to be invented. Learning piano definitely makes theory a whole lot easier... you can see all the scales and everything lined up in front of you.

I know my way around a piano, not great. But i know enough to be able to whack a few chords down to explain something. I also play the saz which is a turkish guitar. Again i play tenor banjo and baritone ukulele. Ive played drums for around 6 years now and guitar for around 12.

I started with a classical guitar at a very young age... then moved onto electric and then exploded into a full time music student... and then now..
