Oh Dear........So imagine this and then think what your Head is feeling like the next day. 2 Hours in front of 2 120 Watt Heads running at Full Bore through Four 4X12s. Next to you is a Bass Player whom is using 2 200 Watt Heads running through 2 1X18s. 2 2X15s and then a Horn on each Cab. On the other side of you there is a Keyboard Player using a Hammond B3 through 200 Watts and assorted Leslie Cabs The Drummer is Mic'd and using a Double Kit !!! (Bless Him) The Second Guitarist is using a similar rig to the one I have mentioned.........AND THEN........There is The Vocalist. HE insists on having a Full Monitor Mix fed back at him from 3 Wedge Monitors across the Front of the Stage that are Louder than Hell itself. OH.....and you are using a 1000 Watt PA. Pass me the Migraine Tablets and a Damp Cloth to cover my Head Please.

Don't worry about it Zoid......I am becoming completely immune to David's comments. As my Dear Old Dad used to say..."The Wisest Head has The Silent Tongue". It does seem peculiar to me that we are all drawn here through a Love of Guitars etc and a Desire to improve our abilities and yet there are some who persist in being rather anti. Strange Old World isn't it?

I don'tknow much about basses, but I would have thought a rock bass would be far too heavy, and if you really want a metal one, go for an alluminium one because iron or lead would give you the same problem as the rock. |
