Yes it isn't a premade skin.... it is a custom made skin. But, agreed, it COULD do with changing, but not because I don't like it. I chose this skin because it's sleek, it works well and it's easy on the eyes. Everything I look for in a website.

To be perfectly honest, the theme is fine. Its easy to read, easy to view, and does not take up endless amounts of system resources. A bloated theme would make the servers slower, a useless JavaScript theme switcher would also do so, and I really dont think it is necessary in the first place.

Roast Zetaboards offers an automatica theme selector, if a 'bloated' theme is correctly coded then it will not make the server slow at all or will it take lots of system resources. Infact, i do agree that this is a nice skin it just doesnt look like a guitar forum.

And hey, the theme isnt premade. And if it was, at least we wouldnt have to hope someone would donate a theme free of charge.

Lier, This skin is PREMADE, it is NOT CUSTOM for this forum. Someone else made it and released it for general use.

I think just a few simple things like rounding off the edges of the boxes like this very one i'm typing in, and slightly darker colours i think would be a little easier on the eye, this colour looks kinda like polo mints sponsor it :P But it's not so bad!

korp no one is looking to ban you. the site isn't perfect but we do have to respect those who made it in the first place. calling bullet a liar isn't the way to go. i think you'll find this to be one of the most fair minded boards on the net. the admins do listen to the people here. suggestions are fine and encouraged but you can't get upset if your suggestion isn't taken. i hope that you reman and continue to contribute to the board. the appearence isn't a big deal its ultimately the people on the board that make it a great (or sucky) place to be. we're shoting for great here.

I couldnt agree with monwobobbo any more.

If you really want to complain, do it in the Feedback forum. Your going offtopic. Its obvious. I thought you were admin on another board?

While we are still on the free servers, I think we will be keeping this skin the same. I have looked for other themes since we have a theme selector here but unfortunately I haven't found any decent looking ones. I personally like this skin but I do agree it doesn't really look like a guitar forum.

Me and Roast are stilll in discussions over vBulletin so until that has been decided, the forum will remain the same.
