What Do You Like Best About Your Amp

I love the clean sound that my windsor can get. (despite the large number of retarded people that claim you can't get a good clean tone out of one. God forbid if you turn down you preamp volume instead of maxing it out at 12)

I do dislike the fact that it's a single channel amp (and i have a crap distortion pedal) and that it doesn't really suit the type of music I play.

I have an unknown model Peavey Halfstack....sounds pretty good....but not a good low-end on it. Clean isnt great...but it is pretty versatile.

I just gotr the Peavey 3120 (first tube amp) with the Windsor cab on it. I am running the head through the old cab, cause they didnt have one at the store the day I bought it, so they shipped one to me. Havent plugged it in yet, but I LOVE the 3120. Amazing cleans, and the rhythm channel is awesome, lead is what I have been looking for.

I cant believe what I have been missing....

It's good to see that my whoring of the 3120 has paid off somewhat. I still can't say enough good things about it.

I think Shoot should just stop searching for an amp and get a 3120 already (come xmas time of course)

I've heard the carvin v3 (veil of maya uses them) and I wasn't particularly impressed with their tone tbh.

I have the best of both worlds with my single channel amps. The VL-501's EL34 loaded, while the VTM 60 has 6L6's. I need a third one, still deciding if I'd go with a 6V6 or 6550 type, to complete my Adam Jones-inspired rig.

Ampeg v412 cabs (straight with Heritage 30's, slant with G12T-745's)

really? most people here are into tube amps. could you be more specific as to why you like digital. i think a different viewpoint could lead to some conversation.
and now for something completely different

ive got a fender twin. and the thing is unbelievable. had a few different amps over the years, gone through marshall combo's, marshall stacks, fender blues deVille etc. but the twin is so versatile. plug my strats into it and its a blues tone machine, then plug my les paul into it and it sings!
truely a quality amp.
fricking loud aswell!

Ok 'll Chime in here too.

I like my Bugera 33XL cause it is very versatile.
1. Good rich clean channel,
2. Mild Crunch to a metal on the gain when rolled up,
3. Lead Channel that is just a Chunk a Chunk that turns heads.
4. El34 or 6L6's versatile.
5. Cost, low enough that you can buy a set of KT-77 Gold Pins and ECC83S's & Biasing tool and still come out less then a average new head cost.

;)
