I am going to be replacing my very old and very knackerd Eros accoustic. Was wondering if you guys had any suggestions. Tried a Tandlewood today (cant remeber model number) was reduced from £289 to £199 played very nicely. Also quite fancy either a Yamaha or Freshman. Got about £300 to spend, can you suggest anything else to try/what do you think of the three guitars listed above? Obviously would not buy without trying first. Thanks Glyn someone has reccomended the Big Baby Taylor what do you think Edited by glynb, Jun 9 2009, 05:11 PM.

Hi matey I very liked the Yamaha APX500. That's the "petite" body electro-acoustic. About £300ish. |

Been looking fow a while now, have just purchased a Tanglewood TW115ST with spruce top and mahogany back and sides.Bought it new from ebay for £92,selling on line and in shops for £242-£270 (needed to save some money as I am self employed and work is slow at the moment) Had tried these guitars while looking so have good idea what it will be like. Should be here Tuesday. Cant wait. Link to guitar details http://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/products/default.asp?cID=26463187&sID=26465115&view=search glynb |

Eko do some really nice acoustics in that price range. All Chinese made but well quality controlled. |

ummm... be sure to look at when a thread was started this one if from 2009. this forum has had some issues so there are some really old threads that are still at the top of a section. we are trying to rebuild membership and get some new threads going that willbe current and hopefully active. |
| and now for something completely different | |
