I joined this band in April, and it's a great challenge for me to play electronic music. I'm used to playing straight up hard rock/metal, so I gave this a go, since I like his music. http://www.myspace.com/iCandytheband I'd love for our band to play in the UK, better yet, get noticed here even. It seems like our music fits more over there than it would here. L.A.'s full of phonies anyway, and there's not really any sight of support really. I'd appreciate the honest opinions of everyone here who'd have the time to check out our music. Thanks in advance! Edited by monwobobbo, Jul 16 2009, 01:11 PM.

gave 'em a listen. you're right not my kind of music but its well done. A@12am has great potential to be heard blaring from Hot Topic stores. the other 2 songs didn't really grab me at all. probably a lack of brOOtalz guitar playing

No problem Bob, I always appreciate your honest opinion. A@12am (great abbreviation btw!) was a song our producer loaned to us, he had that song for about 20 years that really didn't go anywhere, and he felt that it would suit us better. The verse part where there was a chorus effect is me, I complimented his main riff with that melody which got my singer interested, so the producer hit the Record button and there it is. Funny you mentioned Hot Topic because one of the managers of the stores here in OC wants us to play there when she heard At Nineteen. There's more to come, our singer's just rearranging the vocal lines for the other songs. |
